In 1928, the Swedish manufacturer developed the first controllable pitch propeller. This principle repeats itself in their contemporary products. This forms the basis of their progressive, innovative and creative working method. This results in sophisticated designs and high-quality products with the most durable materials. The product range of Berg comprises controllable pitch propeller units for capacities up to 8,000 kW. For the current BCP hubs, the hub lubrication is facilitated separately via the hole-bored shaft. The lubrication oil in this separate system circulates continuously. The return can be fitted with an analysis system.

Berg Propulsion can supply these BCP controllable pitch propellers with hubs up to 1500 mm. The installations are used in, for example, coasters, dredgers, freight ships, ferries and trawlers. Moreover, Berg can supply a wide range of fixed and controllable bow propellers.

Berg Propulsion has an extensive international service network and a substantial stock of reserve parts to serve the fleet of approx. 4,000 ships worldwide.
